GPSmyCity – Your Awesome and Reliant Personal Walking Tour Guide
Today, I am excited to share some amazing news with you! Several of my posts have been turned into a travel app, a walking tour guide for IOS and Android devices!
This news is especially exciting for me as lately, I have been getting some awesome feedback about my blog and this is news I am super excited to share with you and the world!
I am a frequent flyer and LOVE to travel and explore new countries and cities.
So how fitting that one of my travel articles would be turned into an app that can help others navigate their favourite cities with tips, suggestions, and insider advice I can give them? #awesomeness.
Just image you are reading a travel guide while doing some research for your holiday. You bookmark it but wonder how much internet access you may have. Instead you rely on your not-so-great memory to remember where everything your read was. You decide to write it down instead, put the list in a bag you don’t end up taking on holiday with you. So now what?
Well, well, well. Let me tell you today, that scenario never has to happen to you again. Why? You can now use a GPS-guided travel article instead!
So What Exactly Is A Guided Travel Article?
GPSmyCity is an app where you create your very own self-guided city walking tour guide for over ONE THOUSAND cities across the world. The app uses the GPS tracking on your phone to determine your location, guide you around the city, and make sure you are able to complete all the activities your have saved.
For example, when you view my article Amsterdam: The City of Bikes, Coffeeshops and Canals using the app, it will guide you through the city and make sure you arrive at all your destinations.
Not only will you never get lost, this wonderful app will guide you from one location to the next. What more can you ask for? You will never miss out on great sights when on holiday.
The “Find Me” tool will alert you if you are going in the wrong direction. I llove how this app can guide me around the city and get me back to my hotel, with no stress!
Think you know all the great spots in your city? Try out GPSmyCity, I am sure you will find something new.
All articles that you download are accessible even when your phone is offline!
What Do I Love About This Walking Tour Guide?
I love the offline option because it can be hard to find good WiFi in certain cities.
You can read the articles on the go, on the plane, or while walking around exploring your city of choice.
After downloading the free app, if you decide to upgrade, you can create a more detailed travel plan for yourself which includes offline maps showing your various points of interest.
Sound interesting? Of course, it does! A 24- hour personal walking tour guide will assist you at every destination.
It will make your plans for exploring cities more efficient. Just incredible right?
What is better than having access to information right at your fingertips? – You are left with more time to really enjoy your holiday.
I love exploring cities on foot, rather than taking a car or public transportation. This way, I get to see places I might have otherwise missed.
Living in Vienna, I have found many great hidden gems that I would have missed had I taken my car. This past weekend, I was in the towns in Lower Austria, but I’ll tell you about that next week.
You will easily find important monuments and attractions you have heard about in a specified city, as well as hotels, banks, theaters and so much more.
So Where Can You Download This App? Well – I Have A Gift For You!
Since this is the launch of some of my articles on the app, throughout this week, Monday, Sept 24 through Sunday, Sept 30 everyone will able to upgrade the app for FREE.
This will help you to enjoy access to the city articles and navigate your way around the app.
ALL FOR FREE! Download the app today, then get your upgrade! Do it now and thank me later.

Hi, you don’t need to get a GPS for this. You can simply download the app on to your phone and it works as a GPS so you will not need to buy a separate GPS for this to work. 🙂

I love this! I tend to use Google Maps when I’m walking around a new and unfamiliar city because Waze doesn’t have a “walking feature.” But to have an app dedicated to walkers seems like a much better idea!
Great tip, thank you!
In Tokyo we rented a mobile network so we could go online on google maps on our phones while out and about – so we wouldn’t get lost 🙂 Not every restaurant and coffeehouse have free wifi in Tokyo. It worked like a charm, but I think your solution might be just as good – and free!
