Have You Started Taking The Steps To Improve Your Vocabulary And Transform Your Life?
Today and every day going forward, embrace life, love and send out positive energy. Want to know how to improve your vocabulary and transform your life starting at this very moment? It is easier than you think. There is nothing like wishing and wanting for something and then seeing it manifest. Creating the life you want begins by learning how to improve your vocabulary and transform your life.
I am grateful for so many things in life. Happy. Excited for all the wonderful things the future will bring.
Can you think of at least three things you are grateful for in your life? Of course, you can!
We all have goals, dreams, wants and wishes. Do you know that feeling like a wave of warmth, gratitude and appreciation that washes over you when things fall into place?
I try to keep any and all kinds of negativity out of my life. Negativity can bring you down, suck your soul and leave you feeling like life is passing you by, you want to make changes but are not in control.
Words Are Powerful
You can improve your vocabulary and transform your life by using your speech to empower yourself. All beliefs are formed by words, therefore they can be changed by words.
It is hard to transform negative thinking and negative self- talk. If you want to create the lifestyle you desire, you need to be conscious in selecting the words you use daily.
When you improve your vocabulary, you change the way you think, act and respond to others. You choose to engage in certain behaviour, instead of reacting how you have in the past.
For example, someone does something to upset you. You react with the following phrases (say them out loud as you read them):
- I am slightly irritated.
- I am disappointed.
- I am so furious!
- I am livid!
- I am enraged!
Could you feel the negative intensity level building with each phrase?
Your words have significant meaning to you – psychologically and subconsciously.
Make it a habit to speak positive affirmations into your life. Choose words with lower negative intensity levels in order to avoid stress, overwhelm, and anxiety.
Don’t forget – “words have power.”
5 Words/Phrases You Should Transform In Your Daily Self-Talk
Replace the following:
if only with next time
“if only I had known this earlier”
“next time I will do a thorough research”
another obstacle with another opportunity
“another obstacle has been put in my way”
“another opportunity to learn and grow”
I should with I could
“ I should
“I could
I hope with I know
“I hope I can do this”
“I know I can do this”
it is too difficult with it will require time
“it is too difficult to learn how to do this”
“it will require time, dedication and focus”
Be aware of the words you use in your everyday life. Remain conscious of you speak to yourself, and to others. The thoughts that go through your mind.
I believe that whatever you put out into the universe is what you will get in return. Call it the Law of Attraction or Karma.
The universe is ready to give you what you ask for.
It will also give you back the same focus and energy you portray.
Whether it is good bad, that’s entirely up to you.
Words Are Your Power
No matter where you are in your life right now, you can make your situation better. It all comes down to your energy.
What you think and speak, you attract. When you are at peace, you attract positive energy and when you resist you create negative vibes.
Transform and reprogram your mind. Can you believe I only recently learned how to accept and embrace compliments? I used to be flustered by praise! An assertive person knows their self-worth. They exude confidence and appreciate acknowledgement.
“Simply by changing your habitual vocabulary – the words you consistently use to describe the emotions of your life – you can instantaneously change how you think, how you feel, and how you live.” – Tony Robbins
A great read and guide is Tony Robbins: The Life, Lessons & Rules For Success.
The book is filled with a wealth of information and lessons, as well as a bonus chapter The Power of Habit.
Negative Thoughts And Toxic Energy
Although you cannot prevent negative thoughts and emotions from coming up, you can teach yourself to detach from them. You can also learn to redirect your thoughts.
Detach yourself from the negative thoughts and emotions. Doing so will allow you to gain a better perspective of the situation, yet these emotions will not have a negative hold on you.
Accept and release negative thoughts as quickly as possible, it is a great way to turn things around when you want to improve your vocabulary and transform your life.
Any toxic vibes that are being projected onto you by others could disrupt your daily happiness and well-being. I have rejected toxic people from my life. I need people around me who help replenish not deplete my energy.
Do you have people in your life who they drain you mentally and emotionally? Have no remorse in cutting off people who cause you more harm than good.
Positive Words To Include In Your Daily Vocabulary
- Love
- Hope
- Peace
- Joy
- Happiness
- Free
- Forgiveness
- Kindness
- Positive
- Abundance
- Motivation
- Aspiration
There are so many more to add to this list. Make your list longer, or repeat the positive words to yourself daily. Make it a habit to improve your vocabulary and transform your life.
Now that you know there is power in words, and that your energy is an incredible element you can go about making changes in your life you are not happy about.
Allow Yourself To Create Happiness
You can allow anything to manifest in your life by expecting it, willing it, speaking it into the universe, and mostly by believing it. When you start doing so, you will see your energy and mindset shifting in order to allow opportunities into your life to help make your dreams come true.
You can’t just sit back, wish for something and expect the universe to deliver it. HA! If only it were that easy!
Be honest with yourself about what you want and why you want it.
Do you wish to own your own business, learn how to drive, open up a store?
You can do it!
Do not limit yourself, you can easily attract abundance into your life. The power of your words will help you with this.

You learn to appreciate how powerful words are when you say something and you can’t take it back. This was a great read and hope to replace negative words with positive affirmations in my life
No doubts, words have more power than any other thing or object. I agree, you need to know what you need any why you need it. If you are not clear on your own, you can’t achieve anything.
Words are powerful and once it is said, it is difficult to take it back. We should choose our words wisely. great post.

I love this! words can be so powerful, i most definitely agree we have the power to change our life to be happy no one else can do that.
You are so right, words do have power. We breathe life into words when we allow them passage through our lips and into the world. Which then affects our progress in the world. We definitely need to be more careful about the words we put in the atmosphere and try to limit our speach to only positive things which we want to bring to life. Thanks for sharing.
This is a great post and very timely in my life. My biz coach suggested I work on my acumen. I’ve been reading more in order to help improve my acumen and overall vocabulary. Not only for speaking more effectively but also be help improve my writing skills. Thanks for sharing these insights.
My favorite is replacing “I hope” with “I know.” I had a less-than-great birth experience with my first child and have another baby due next month. Instead of saying “I hope it goes better,” I’m trying to remember to say (and think!), “I KNOW I will have a better experience!”
I so agree with this, words do have power. While I try to stay positive, sometimes I do get irritated and trust me, I use my words.
Wow! This was such an interesting read, I absolutely loved it.

This post is amazing! I love the positive framing of the phrases! It’s so true that your words mean so much and we convey our own personalities with the word choices we use. I try to stay as positive as I can, but it’s not always easy.

I agree; words have power. More than that; time has power. I approve of using words on social media to try and cause positive change. I applaud people who devote their own free time to causes and the greater good.
Onwards with the positive affirmations!
I completely agree, when you believe that you can do something it really does turn out for the best. Plus I like the sound of saying that an obstacle is not a limitation but a chance to garner new opportunities! x

Could not agree more. This is part of the reason why I write my daily affirmation and gratitude into my planners. It always helps to keep me in perspective. Self-talk can make or break you so it is important to speak positively.
