The Most Powerful Ways To Boost Your Self-Confidence Starting Today!
Self-confidence is something I have had to learn. If you know that you are struggling with it, keep reading. I want to share with you some powerful ways to boost your self-confidence.
You don’t have to feel as though you are not good enough, or unworthy. We are all amazing people with so much to offer the world.
It is possible for you to make changes to the way you see yourself. When you change your negative self-talk, you will be surprised at how easy it is for you to start feeling better.
See Who You Want to Be In Yourself
When you struggle with low self-esteem and confidence, you have a poor perception of yourself, which oftentimes is inaccurate. Visualisation helps to practice seeing who you want to be.
I use visualisation to set my goals. Goals for me are always short-term achievable goals, leading up to my main goals. This allows me to celebrate my success.
Have you ever set a goal and not achieved it? Yes? Well, we all have. The key is to break them down so they are easily completed and you are not left feeling disappointed in yourself.
Daily Affirmations Can Transform Your Mindset
Affirmations are very powerful tools. Positive affirmations allow you to instill your desired beliefs into your mind and heart. The use of uplifting statements is one of the most powerful ways to boost your self-confidence.
You may not like your nose, your hair, your boobs, etc. We all have something we don’t like about ourselves right? Your over-sized feet? Today it’s one thing, next week another. Well, it is time to embrace those things that make you unique.
Start by acknowledging the things you do like. How beautiful your eyes are or how lovely your gorgeous wavy hair is.
You can’t have everything, so embrace the things you love, and accept the things you aren’t crazy about.
Slowly, but surely, you will start to build your confidence. As your confidence grows, so will your self-esteem.
My best friend keeps a self-love journal. She writes down all the things she loves about herself. Not just her physical appearance but about her character too.
She then goes through the list and turns her positive words into affirmations and statements.

Do Something New And Different At Least Once A Month
I know. It’s easier said than done right? We go through life with insecurities, so if you are insecure then you are certainly not alone. Start of with doing something small. Like smiling at people more, starting a conversation. You need not swim with sharks tomorrow! 🙂
This is important to remember so you don’t let your insecurities take over your life. You are far better than what you give yourself credit for.
The best way for you to overcome a fear of either criticism or rejection is to face it head-on. Do something new a few times a month. It will help you to gain confidence in the decisions that you make while overcoming challenges that hold you back.
You also need to push yourself more than you normally would with everything in your life. Sure, this will be hard work, to begin with, but when you are able to put the work in and stay focused on your end goal, you will soon see how it makes a difference to your life.
Don’t Allow Your Inner Critic Be Your Voice Of Reason
Silencing your inner critic is another one of the powerful ways to boost your self-confidence. That voice in your head that tell you that you can’t do something, or makes you question yourself is a voice that we create in our minds growing up. The more you silence your inner critic, the louder your inner strength will come through.
Believe that you have the ability and the power to do what you set your mind to. You will begin facing and overcome challenges, and in turn, you will change and grow into the person you want to be.
Stop bashing yourself and saying you’re not good enough, smart enough pretty enough. I believe in the law of attraction, so speaking that only creates a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Think back to all of the accomplishments you’ve had. Get out a pen and paper and write all of them down.
You’ll see that not only have you accomplished some impressive and amazing things, you are capable of even more.
Simplify Your Life By Making Small Changes
Your home can often be a reflection of your internal world. Did you know that approximately one in every 50 people struggles with severe hoarding? Hoarding is always accompanied by varying levels of anxiety because it relieves it as well as produces it.
Throughout our phases and seasons of life, we tend to hold on to negative emotions, beliefs and thoughts that don’t serve us. Some of us also hold on to material possessions that don’t serve us either. Both the emotional and physical can weigh us down tremendously.
Of the five powerful ways to boost your self-confidence, this is my favourite.
I love to declutter. There’s no need to wait for your annual spring cleaning. You can declutter your home and space every single day.
Do you have clothes you haven’t worn in years? Some you don’t even remember buying? Or items that once held sentimental value, but no longer do? Appliances you have bought and never used? Give them away, throw them away or sell them.
You’ll not only free up some space in your life you will feel better and less overwhelmed.
Putting Powerful Ways To Boost Your Self-Confidence Into Practice
Life is full of challenges and there are times when it’s difficult to keep our self-confidence up. Don’t stress yourself if you have a bad day. Just make sure you don’t stay in the funk when you are down.
Practice Hygge, meditation, yoga, or simply eat healthier food. Do things that are good for you and make you feel better about yourself.
Be proud of your accomplishments. Write them down and post them around your house, and in your office where you will see them daily and be reminded of how awesome you are.
You can also make a list of all the people you are thankful for and the things in life you are grateful for.
Watch the positive change being made in your made and heart. The way you feel on the inside will show on the outside.

Thank you for such wonderful, comforting tips Sheri! I’ve been struggling with self-confidence (or complete lack of) all my life, it’s getting better with age but it’s still a daily struggle. I’ve already implemented some of these tips but will try to do all of them ♥
